Music Monday

Best Coast is a surfer indie pop band from LA, their songs are oh so catchy, and I thoroughly enjoy their lo-fi sound.

I gained even more respect for them when I found this cover they did of Loretta Lynns Fist City.

Chassity's Thought

SO..
I was in my art appreciation class today and we were talking about the elements and principles of design...blah blah blah..you know the basics of art. When we got to unity and variety my professor showed us Mes Voeux done by ANNETTE MESSAGERI was so inspired I love her work!

Basically this is just pictures in frames hanging from twine but I think it's really awesome so I am going to try to do something like it--maybe leave out the body parts and replace it with personal pictures or I think even empty frames hanging from twine at different levels and different sizes would be cool. Also, you can't really tell from these pictures but in some of the frames she has handwritten texts and it would be neat to put scriptures where she has the handwritten texts. I'll let you know how it goes...hah
Just a thought..

Moon Beam

We went to our grandparents 50th wedding anniversary which we decided to dress 50's/60's since our grandparents met in the 50s and got married in the 60s. We hit up the party with 50's inspired fur coats.
